There are more fires in peoples homes than in schools. One of the reasons is because schools have fire drills. You can have a fire drill at home. Ask an adult to press the test button on the smoke detector and then practice your fire escape plan. Remember to crawl to your meeting place.

Our Town has  the same number for the fire department, or medical emergencies 911.  Keep the number of of the fire department on your phone. If your house is on fire, call from a neighbours house.
